Ancient Hands is the culmination of my life’s work in helping others reconnect with their physical selves. As a certified somatic therapist and movement educator with over a decade of experience, I have spent my career studying how the body holds tension, how it recovers, and the importance of intentional, mindful touch.
My path to creating Ancient Hands wasn't just about skincare; it was about extending the healing I provide in my practice into the daily rituals of my clients. I observed that many people were using products filled with synthetic fillers and harsh chemicals that disconnect them from their own skin. I wanted to offer something different, something that honors the body’s natural biology rather than masking it.
Every jar I handcraft in my Central Oregon home is an extension of that therapeutic philosophy. By using unrefined Ghanaian shea butter, mango butter, and locally sourced grass-fed beef tallow, I create formulas that are as restorative and grounding as a professional bodywork session. For me, Ancient Hands is about fostering a deeper, more intentional relationship with your skin, turning a daily necessity into a healing, nourishing act of self-care.
